The Liu Institute for Global Issues
The Liu Institute for Global Issues is located in the heart of UBC’s Point Grey Campus, next to the International House at the corner of NW Marine Drive and West Mall. Surrounded by lush forest, the Liu Institute is based in an award-winning building designed by Architectura in association with famed architect Arthur Erickson.
In addition to housing Liu Institute research, seminars, and events, the Liu building is available to host both UBC and external conferences, meetings and corporate retreats. The venue offers easy access to UBC’s pedestrian paths and parkades. Services include washrooms, an informal lounge, and a kitchen with a fridge, sink and microwave.
