UBC Master of Public Policy and Global Affairs alumni have been working with Green Technology Asia for the last six months and recently completed a report titled “The Canadian Artificial Intelligence Ecosystem: A 2018 Profile.” The report represents the most recently available snapshot of AI activity in Canada. The research included interviews and in depth analysis of 297 of Canada’s AI companies, researchers, and research institutes. The findings provide industry, policy makers, investors, and researchers with important insights and details on Canada’s AI sector.

Brady Fox was the lead researcher and writer for this report with significant contributions from Denea Bascombe and Sonia Takhar. The report also contains contributions from MPPGA alumnus Chad Rickaby.
