Lucian Go is a visiting researcher in climate change policy at the Liu Institute for Global Issues. As a Fox International Fellow, Lucian is visiting from Yale University for the 2016-17 academic year.
Lucian’s research is focused on the British Columbia’s carbon tax program, including its efficacy and its effects on private sector decision-making. Prior to UBC, Lucian has worked in the energy program at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) and on a variety of environmental consulting projects, including climate resilience policy in California’s Sierra Nevada region and geospatial analysis for urban forest planning in Bolivia. He holds a Master of Environmental Management from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies and a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley.
